With nearly 20 years experience representing clients throughout the country, Tim offers his clients effective, innovative and cost efficient resolutions.  Tim is a seasoned litigator who represents a variety of companies, individuals and insurers in matters involving commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability and construction law. His practice includes advising and representing clients on commercial and business disputes, as well as various employment matters. He has represented clients at all phases of litigation, including arbitrations, mediations, trials and appeals, with his practice taking him to state and federal courts in a multitude of jurisdictions. His representation includes, among others:


  • Serving as counsel to construction companies to advise on issues related to business operations, as well as risk management and litigation 
  • Providing litigation support to vast array of business entities on contractual/transactional issues, including, among other things, real estate transactions, corporate transactions, intellectual property, non-competes and separation agreements
  • Providing litigation support to commercial entities and individuals on professional and general liability claims throughout the country
  • Serving as defense and coordinating counsel for a national self-service storage company handling cases throughout New England, New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C
  • Serving as approved panel counsel for multiple large commercial insurance carriers and third-party adminitstrators in connection with professional and general liability claims


Tim has also represented:


  • A multi-national publishing company in connection with various copyright and trademark issues
  • ​A national employment services company on a variety of issues including the enforcement of non-compete agreements, business matters and general litigation services
  • A private pension fund in connection with claims brought against an investment manager for violation of the Massachusetts Securities Act
  • Former employees of a publicly traded technology company in a multi-million dollar lawsuit involving allegations of breach of non-compete agreements and usurpation of corporate opportunities
  • Founders of an outsourcing waste management start-up in prosecuting breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secret claims against a multinational home retailer
  • A large commercial insurance carrier in connection with multimillion dollar claims of insurance fraud


Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena College in 1995 and received his law degree from Roger Williams University in 1999. During law school, Tim served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Jacob Hagopian, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court of Rhode Island.


Tim is admitted to the state courts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, as well as the federal courts of Massachusetts and Connecticut, the United States Bankruptcy Court for Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He was named a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers Edition of Boston Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2012. Tim was also selected as an Outstanding Young Lawyer for New England Super Lawyers and recognized as one of the State's Outstanding Young Lawyers in Boston Magazine for 2009. 


Tim is a member of the Rhode Island and the Massachusetts Bar Associations.
